Italy Rome

Rome in springtime

Spring has arrived to Rome very quickly this year. The trees turned purple and white so abundantly, the temperatures rose before you know it and we enjoyed the glorious sunshine. I love the chilly mornings at this time of the year when our local market’s sellers proudly display their early vegetables, invite me to assaggiare and share their favorite recipes.

I love bunches of spring flowers and especially yellow tulips on my table. I love reading newspapers laying on a carpet of daisies in Doria Pamphili and the wild world behind the window of our living room that overlooks a courtyard and a bushy garden inhabited by so many different singing birds.

Am I really in the heart of Rome?

The early spring has been a wonderful time but there was something amiss. The cold realization that we would leave Rome soon slowly set in…

So I decided to make the most of the last month and walked almost every street of my beloved city, ventured into the most unknown nooks and crannies and came back to my favorite places.

These photos are what I got, my last and most beautiful memories from Rome, the city I am and will always be genuinely fond of.

Hi Andrei, everything is fine, thank you. I’m coming back to Paris and enrolling back at the university in September to specialize in political sciences. It’s a two-year programme. And what about you? How’s everything?

At Paris IV? It’s a master degree? Or something else? Here…everything is ok. Nothing changed, nothing special. :( Work and family. And I change jobs from time to time till I find something ok for me.

No, there is no political sciences course at Paris IV, I applied at Paris I and Paris-Assas, M1. So you’re still in Timisoara?
